Lauren was raised by music, film, and words. Whether it be inspiration from Audrey Hepburn, Lana Del Rey, Lerner and Loewe, Taylor Swift, Greta Gerwig, or Jane Austen, this is what gets her out of bed every morning; the need to express beyond the natural capabilities of day-to-day life. Lauren has no choice but to create. It is in her blood.
Lauren Everett was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, the city of music. She studied at CCM’s Preparatory Department from the age of seven until she graduated from Wyoming High School. She attended many summer intensives and was involved in the High School Musical Theatre Intensive group with the department.
Lauren is a proud graduate of Wright State University with her BFA in Acting with Musical Theatre Emphasis. Wright State is acclaimed as one of the top theatre schools in the country.
“I’m so thankful for my training at Wright State,” says Lauren. “I love how I can listen to a song, musical theatre or not, hear what’s happening musically, and I can say to myself ‘where it changes here means a different intent.’ Music, acting, and communication doesn’t feel like three separate things anymore. I can now naturally morph them into one, and that’s so incredible!”
Other than being a passionate actor, Lauren is also very enthusiastic about Yoga. Lauren is a Registered Yoga Teacher with 200 study hours (RYT 200) with Yoga Alliance. She studied at DRISHTIQ Yoga in Mason, OH.
Lauren is a freelance actor in Chicago, IL. She previously lived in Cincinnati, where she worked closely with The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati as a mainstage actor, a full-time touring actor, and a teaching artist. Lauren is also signed with Heyman Talent Agency and does various film and commercial projects.
